Separate packs with different dates

Two packs of the same medicine can have different expiry dates. Record them as separate batches so the count stays connected to the date on each pack.

Stock quantity and usable stock differ

A cupboard can contain a full pack that needs attention because of its expiry date. Dosia displays batch expiry information and supports expiry alerts alongside low-stock reminders.

Expiry tracking depends on entering the date correctly. The app cannot inspect a package or determine whether a medicine has been stored correctly.

Earliest expiry first

When allocating consumption across available batches, Dosia prioritizes the earliest expiry. Check the pack you actually use and keep batch records accurate, especially when you switch packs.

Check the label beyond the printed date

Some products have storage instructions and a different limit after opening. Follow the supplied label and ask your pharmacist when unsure. This page explains record keeping, not whether a particular medicine remains safe to use.
